In accordance with the plans of ship owner Saariston Meritie Oy, we designed the conversion of the fairway vessel Letto into a 180-passenger passenger vessel for domestic traffic. Our 3D design capabilities were very useful in the detailed design of this straightforward and urgent project. After the conversion work carried out in Turku, the ship, which received the new name Arktis, left for Kemi, where Kemin Matkailu Oy will use it as a passenger icebreaker together with the icebreaker Sampo.
