Bay of Bothnia’s little powerhouse

Port icebreaker Ahto assists ships in Finland’s northernmost ports in Kemi and Tornio. The ship, which has been operating in the midst of the challenging ice conditions of the Bay of Bothnia since 2014, has established its reputation as an efficient and reliable workhorse. In addition to its icebreaking, ice management, escort towing and towing tasks, it is also capable of oil spill prevention and various transport tasks.
